The story of this business started with my stepmother, when we were introduced and I learned of her design and sewing techniques I wanted to try it myself! We grew very close and she taught me to design, cut, and stitch flags.

Fast forward to around 12 years ago and I had made those skills into an online side business selling flags on Etsy. It steadily grew until I was able to quit my old job and focus entirely on Theflagchick. It's been a great creative outlet while also allowing me to stay home and spend more time with my hubby and our boys. On top of that I love seeing the pictures people share of their flags flying - makes my day every time. Oh, you know what else? I get to have the time to take care of my very own garden too, it's absolutely breathtaking in the summer!
